Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid agentlint subscriptions. Read this before you subscribe.
1. The CLI is free
The agentlint command-line tool is open-source under the MIT license and free of charge. Refunds do not apply to it.
2. Cancel any time, access until period end
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep full access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, the subscription ends and you fall back to the free CLI.
3. No prorated refunds for cancellation
Subscriptions are paid in advance for the full billing period (monthly or annual). When you cancel, we do not refund the unused portion of the current period — instead, you continue to have access through the end of that period. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.
4. We refund when we fail
If we fail to deliver the Service as advertised — extended outage attributable to us, billing error on our side, account locked through no fault of yours, or a duplicate charge — we will refund the affected period in full or in part as appropriate. Email hello@agentlint.sh with the subscription ID and a description of the issue.
5. Annual plans
Annual plans (when offered) follow the same rule: you pay for the year up front, can cancel any time, retain access through the end of the annual term, and do not receive a prorated refund for unused months. The Section 4 carve-out for service failures still applies.
6. Chargebacks
Please email us before initiating a chargeback. We can almost always resolve issues faster and more cleanly that way. Disputed charges that turn out not to be service failures may result in account suspension while we work it out with the issuer.
7. How to request a refund (when this policy applies)
Email hello@agentlint.sh from the address on the account with the subscription ID (visible in the dashboard or in your billing receipt). We respond within two business days; approved refunds typically post to your card within five to ten business days.
